What is Ki? Ki is the spiritual power within every single person. The stronger the person, the more noticeable and powerful the Ki is. Ki can also be detected by the Z-Fighters in order to see how they stand against that person. The Z-Fighters have the power to change their ki by powering up. Ki can also be explained by how much energy that specific person gives out. The more energy that is given out, the stronger the Ki will be, if the person gets severly hurt, the ki will go lower and if the person is about to die, the ki will almost be unoticable and will fade away. Ki can also be put into two groups, Good and Evil. The Z-Fighters have also used ki to find people faster, instead of having to search for them. This is a very handy technique in dangerous times. Each person also seems to have a special kind of ki, in which the Z-Fighters can detect whose ki it is from even the furthest of distances.
